Wishes | Mary McGillis

Do you have your own wishing tree? Maybe it’s time you do! When The Fairy and Dragon Festival launched in 2015, the champion carver Steven Kenzora found an amazing piece of driftwood and his enchanting partner and wife, Jodi Hendricks, did her magic and created the Celtic Connection Wishing Tree! Since then, thousands of wishes have been collected in the tree from all of our events and from it’s main location in front of the store all these years. As you will see when you watch the Wishes vlog (just click on the photo of the Wishing Tree below), wishes can be fun, crazy or seriously serious, and definitely heartfelt. This series of Wishes (*will post short wishes each week for fun) is to inspire you to take the time to consider what you wish for; if it’s your health, some thing, a holiday or a wish for a friend or the world, you can make as many wishes as you want every day and smile, knowing that all wishes will be granted, you just don’t know when! Wish away and watch the Wishes show to see what others are wishing! #wishes #marymcgillis #celticconnectioncanada #thewishingtree
